A dozen years ago I had the honor of putting together the first ever book of Instagram photography! The heavy filters, fake film borders, the endless shots of coffee and shoes — it’s gone way past feeling dated and come back around to feeling charmingly vintage and nostalgic.

200 photographs from numerous contributors capture a moment in time. Those early days of social media when still photos and the chronological feed ruled, when life looked dreamy “through the lens of Instagram.”
